22. Frosty the Snowman-The Roches

Hey who's that over there?
That's that weird guy down the street
Oh yeah he's a snowman
The one with the funny nose
Frosty the snowman was a jolly happy soul
With a corn cob pipe and a button nose and two eyes made out of coal
Frosty the snowman is a fairy tale they say
He was made of snow but the children know how he came to life on day
There must have been some magic in that old silk hat they found
For when they placed it on his had he began to dance around
Frosty the snowman was alive as he could be
And the children say he ca laugh and play but we don't believe 'um anyway
He's Real!
Frosty the snowman knew the sun was hot that day
So he said let's run and we'll have some fun now before I melt away
Down to the village with the broomstick in his hand
Running here and there all around the square tripping all over himself with the broomstick
He was walking in the streets of town right to the traffic cop
And he only paused a moment when he heard him holler stop
Frosty the snowman was happy on his way
But he waved goodbye saying don't you cry I'll be back again someday
Hippity hop hop
Hippity hop hop
Look at that snowman go
In his easter bonnet with all the frills upon it
He'll be the only snowman in the easter parade

By far the best version of Frosty ever! I can't hear that song now without thinking "in your easter bonnet.." which makes absolutely no sense!

oooo i was just listening to that yesterday! i really like the part where they steal the easter song from "holiday inn," and also when the little kids say, "what do you know? you're just a bunch of grownups!"
